A new poll by SHRM looks at representation of HR professionals on corporate boards currently and within the past five years. Among the findings: About one-fourth of HR professionals at the director-level and above serve as board members, though most of these positions are for nonprofit organizations.
Global Diversity Readiness Index Is Available Online
SHRM's new Global Diversity Readiness Index (G-DRI) is a tool that ranks and rates 47 countries along 39 separate indicators in five broad categories (national diversity, workplace diversity, social inclusion, government inclusion and legal framework). It is now available for free download.
