Technical Problems with SHRM's Website
Q. Do I have to log into shrm.org to make changes to my e-mail contact information?
Yes. You must be logged onto shrm.org website to make changes to your contact details in your profile.
Q. Can I update my e-mail contact information online?
Yes. You may update your e-mail address at any time by visiting www.shrm.org/memberrecord. Log into the site using your SHRM ID number and your last name, then click on the "Contact Info" link in the grey navigation bar. Click on "Edit" next to your current e-mail address and save.
Q. How can I reach a live person to update my e-mail address and phone number?
To reach a live person contact the SHRM Member Care team via phone 800-283-7476, Option #3 (U.S. only), +1-703-548-3440 (Int'l), Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST.
Q. I am no longer a SHRM member but I still receive SHRM e-mails, and would like to unsubscribe. How do I do that?
You can unsubscribe from all SHRM e-mail in one of two ways:
a) At the bottom of one of the e-mails received from SHRM, click on the 'Unsubscribe' link. This will direct you to your Subscription Management page. At the bottom of that page, select the "Please completely remove <your e-mail> from all SHRM e-mail lists and send no further emails"
b) Or you can send your unsubscribe request to Member Care.
Q. I am not receiving SHRM e-mails and I'd like to continue receiving them. What do I need to do?
Confirm that the shrm.org domain is white-listed within your organization's e-mail system by contacting your IT department. If you need additional assistance with your e-mail subscriptions, please send your question or request to Member Care.
Q. Can I update my personal information online?
Yes. You may update your address, demographic information and communications preferences at anytime online. Click on the My Profile link in the Membership box on the left side of the shrm.org home page. You must log onto shrm.org using your SHRM ID number and your last name.
