This is a Mock Court on Workplace Discrimination. This module presents the concepts of disparate impact and disparate treatment, followed by actual practice in presenting prima facie cases as a plaintiff and defending them as an employer. The target audience is undergraduate students. The teaching notes for this module may be accessed via the Notes View in PowerPoint. The accompanying syllabus also includes general information about the module, a road map to conducting each segment, learning objectives, required and suggested readings and additional resources. Case studies for the instructor to use when conducting the Mock Court accompany the module. Both an instructor’s manual for the cases and a student workbook, without case solutions, are provided.
