This case study examines the implementation of a new performance management system designed specifically for support staff at a school in the United Kingdom. This is the first part of a three part case about Southwood Schools and implementation of its new performance management system. Two documents comprise part one of the case—an instructor’s manual and a student workbook.
Note: Southwood School is a three-part case intended to be taught in succession beginning with Performance Management, then followed by Training and Development then Recruitment and Selection. Instructors have the flexibility to use one, two or three of the cases depending on need.
